This is an amazing, jaw-dropping tribute to Superboy and the Legion of Super-Heroes in all of it's incarnations/reboots, told through another great Amalgam Spider-Boy tale. Spider-Boy is really the Kesel "The Kid" version of Superboy, a personal favorite, and the fun of seeing all the various Legionnaires crossed with the Guardians of the Galaxy and even a Time Trapper/Immortus mash-up can't be beat! In this issue Spiderboy ( Superboy , Spiderman ) is in a battle with Scavulture ( Scavenger , Vulture ), and at the moment it looks like the Scavulture is about to deliver the final blow, when all of a sudden he is whisked away to the year 2099.
