Was Paul Jenkins Thinking of the Kennedy Assasination?

This is the picture that Steve Lieber, the artist in "The Accused", Robbie Baldwin's trial in Civil War frontline, did in the last page. A man tried to assasinate Baldwin when he was on his way to trial.

Now look at this picture. It is the assasination of the man who assasinated President Kennedy. This man, named Lee Harvard Oswald, was also on his way to trial.

It's like looking at a cartoon of the real thing. It is obvious that Paul Jenkins, writer of "The Accused", was thinking or maybe even watching or looking at these photos and videos.

Another similarity is that Speedball and Oswald both say "A policeman hit me" when a reporter asks who had caused the injuries in there face.

What are your thoughts on this?
