He blamed himself for the Stamford tragedy and briefly remodeled himself as Penance. Returned to the Speedball alias, he continues to atone for his past while trying to restart the New Warriors.

    is his powers still evoling and if the do is it possible that he doen't need pain to use his powers?

    As Pennance, Robbie's in constant pain, from both a) the bullet lodged in his spine, and b) the pennance suit with the 612 (or however many it was) spikes stabing into him. So it doesn't seem that he's hurting to use them, but really, he's just always hurting.

    i thought his new powers were only be able to use when he is pain and i know he puts all that pain on him because he feels responsible
