When you think of top marvel women the likes of Captain Marvel, Sue Storm, Phoenix, Electra, Storm, She-Hulk, and Black Widow come to mind.

Monica is a character I would love to learn more about and see more of. And I feel she has the potential to be an A list character but something is missing. What do you think could make her more recognisable among the marvel women?

@neelay3: I would say utilizing her more and just pushing her like all the other female superheroes.

1) Appearances. Showing up in cool places in cool ways.

2) Exploring her powers. Right now, she's kinda do-anything without a real anchoring in physics that the average person can get, so she just looks like magic. Make this exploration a big plot point in the next event with her powers being the key to something or other.

3) A role in the Captain Marvel movie as Carol's Rhodey/Sam.

4) A solo ongoing. Could be simple and contained, like Fraction's Hawkeye run. Probably the best move to give her some kind of lasting longevity. If it's really good she can be a fan fave within a year's time like Ms. Marvel (Kamala's been out two and a half years).

5) A Video game or cartoon featuring her prominently.

6) A defined unique personality. That is, is she the bored Nextwave Monica? Is she the task-oriented early Avengers Photon? Is she Mighty Avengers "Spectrum if your nasty" heroine? It's hard to get too attached to someone when you don't know them.

7) Have 'Spectrum' be the unannounced TV project from 12 Years a Slave director John Ridley. That will make her instantly popular.
