if you guys seen the M. Night Shyamalan Unbreakable starring Bruce Willis and Samuel L. Jackson it is very much similar to the character of the Spectre and the lore around it. One example is that the main character played by Bruce Willis wears a green rain coat looking very similar to the Spectre himself. Another example is that fact that it was never fully explained how he got his powers during the course of the film. It almost seemed like it came from a higher being...maybe from God, but not from genetics like the x-men or spiderman and the character is still a human being. This works because one of his powers is to see the sin of the people he touches which works with the spectre because the Spectre is the wrath of God and punishes people who have sinned. another interesting note is the fact that Samuel L. Jackson's character wears purple for most of the film as such as Eclipsothe former wrath of God.
