PS thinks Spectre might have killed his family. This is the first time we see Spectre's new redesign as the previous ones had his green undies on and nothing else.

Corrigan isn't affected by the time being stopped by PS

Not only does Spectre have a cosmic role, if he and PS were to actually go full out and literally fight to the "death", they could destroy Creation itself.

Constantine #2: Constantine meets Spectre for first time

Spectre is able to show a person's past and what sins they have done. Also, Constantine himself is VERY afraid of Spectre.

It has taken the world's most powerful magicians centuries to finally be able to only neutralize the Spectre, not kill. Spectre could have also killed Constantine right there.

It really shows that Constantine, considered one of, if not THE, strongest magicians, fears the Spectre that much.

Constantine #7: Brief Appearance

Spectre is able to see and sense the huge power. He was willing to go fight the people if Constantine did not succeed.

Constantine #10: In Heaven.

Spectre, again, makes himself big

Spectre's punch is so strong that it sends everyone flying including people like PS, Pandora, and Swamp Thing.

Would have actually killed Constantine if he hadn't disappeared away. He has PH in his grip even when PH is struggling. Not even Zauriel has more authority than Spectre. Stopped by God.

Phantom Stranger #17: Round 2!

Spectre is taller than anything on the football field.

If it wasn't for Pandora's magic dagger, PS actually thought Spectre was about to kill him, by cursing him. Spectre also was strong enough to strip away Pandora's light armor which makes her even more powerful.

Still big (looks like he wants to be the new Giant Man) and takes a punch from PS (who obviously is stronger than most because his power comes from God).

The Spectre is now The Spirit of Redemption's teacher. He also always shows respect and listens to God.

Batman Eternal #2: Jim Corrigan Appears!

Spectre is able to both erase memories and make people remember something.

@jonny_anonymous: lol yep. I hope that one day the Presence explains to Spectre that the PS was only listening to him and didn't even know that Corrigan was going to die. Then the Spectre will be on more friendly terms with PS.

still not liking this new spectre though hopefully over the years they improve him.

@jonny_anonymous: well his introduction for one why did they make him look like an avenging Ghost when he is suppose to be an angel. I pray he still has that origin about him especially since they didn't make eclipso one anymore.

@jonny_anonymous: no he was an angel that was given the role of being God's Wrath he wasn't no ghost but now it seems they made him so, but it's not anything a retcon can't fix.

@primebonnick: I'm talking about in the New 52. This way Corrigan and the Spectre are one and the same instead of an entity possessing another.

@jonny_anonymous: Yea not feeling it the spectre is suppose to be something grander than that, but alas i was expecting the new 52 to damage characters shame spectre had to be one of them.

@primebonnick: Grander than what? It's exactly the same now except he's one person instead of two.

@jonny_anonymous: as i said he was (or well not really much is known about his past) an angel that rebelled with lucifer morningstar and then asked for forgiveness and became God's wrath taking over from eclipso. Now it just seems like he is some vengeful ghost not all that grand to me.

@primebonnick: He's gods instrument of justice, he was just human first instead of something that just latched on to different hosts

@jonny_anonymous: i know he feels less grand that way when he was an angel he just felt something older and grander especially since he was the one that cause the 10 plagues and such. I just don't like the being human first aspect which is why i;m not a fan of the new phantom stranger being Judas Iscariot either. Still maybe he grows on me it is a new universe so its a different spectre.

@aquaman01: you misinterpreted the creation destroying part. the presence never said their battle could destroy 52 universes, he basically said if they do not work together, then creation will be at risk.

God said ALL of creation can be at risk, that hints at the 52 Universes.

There's also one somewhat recent where they bonded to Phantom Spectre temporarily and combined both their powers and took out Sin Eater rather easily.

I’m upset he was kinda pushed aside as a character. Now granted he’s omnipotent so he wouldn’t make a lot of good fights. But I still think they did him wrong. The first series was awesome.
