The cover as always is great because of Ron Frenz’s work. It really explains what is going on in the story.
Story
After May finds out her father is Wild Card. She runs to her house because her father is hurt. When her mom walks in May sees that her mother has a big black eye. Right away May knows that April probably did this. April finally decides that she does not care what May thinks that she does not care about the no one dies policy. April say who ever gets in her way will die and that includes May. May figures out that Normie was helping her father go against her. Normie calls and says that he is always on her side and was trying to prevent May from being in the Gang War. He also says that the Gang War is over and that The Warriors and American Dream found enough evidence to put Don Silvio in custody. As the warriors come Don Silvio defeats the Warriors and American Dream very easily. The punisher is trying to get information on where Don Silvio is from Marko. Black Tarantula comes and tells the punisher not to kill Marko and he will tell where Don is. May gets a call from Normie and has to go help the Warriors and American Dream. Spider-girl finds the punisher and she will not let him hill the hobgoblin and The punisher shots her in the hand. But even with Spider-girl’s hand being shot she still can trap him. But, the hobgoblin then catches he by her throat. Spider-girl gets out of his grasp. She then fights with him. The Punisher goes to Don Silvio and they kill each other. As this happens the Hobgoblin takes all of Spider-girl’s friends and is going to drop them but, Spider-girl makes a web and saves them. Hobgoblin was going to shot her at this moment but, Mayhem comes and kills him. The Gang War is finally over.
Best Part
I like that Spider-girl has to make a choice about April. I think the reason May is going so hard on the no kill policy is because she knows that April is her clone and if April kills May can one day do the same. I also like that this issue was a little brutal that The punisher, Don Silvio, and Hobgoblin died. Also always love May’s inner monologue and especially at the end.
