Spider-Girl's attempts to lay low are thwarted by the reappearances of the Punisher and the villainous Mayhem. THE GOOD Seeing Ron Frenz and a legend like Sal Buscema work together is a real treat. The art feels classic, with the exact vintage of Spidey thrills that have been well-honed over the decades. The cover for this issue of Spider-girl was great because it really shows what this issue is about. The story begins with the punisher training to go back to be out of retirement. He wants to defeat Don Silvio. May is having worries about wild card and that because of him she can not protect her city because she is nursing a heading from wild card. (She had a fight with him in the last issue in Web of Spiderman) Peter sees may holding her costume and he asks why she is holding her costume becaus...2 out of 5 found this review helpful.
Spider-Girl is back and ready for action. Punisher is definitely ready for war on the mob and the mob is ready for war on him. Don Silvio saw a picture of Wild Card kicking Spider-Girl's a$$. He needs someone to take down Black Tarantula. Punisher wants to take him down and learns that he is seeking help from Spider-Girl. We see May is having some trouble with herself and her spider senses. Her spider senses are working against her because of Wild Card.
