I know nothing about Spawn. I should try him.

Er, is it alright if I say I don't like him or the general premise of the entire setting in which his story takes place?

For me, the whole dark brooding anti-hero thing is, umm, not done well, alot. IMHO, that's one of the reasons why the lovable Peter Parker aka Spidey is kicking such large amounts of ass, he isn't the anti-hero, he struggles at being a hero. Big difference.

The Spawn Vs Batman turned me away from the character.

I've never really followed the character, but you can ask Animist. He's a big spawn fan, just did the Wiki for him.

So since we all have good taste (for being on this site and all) and none of us are really reading Spawn nowadays, how the heck did the latest issue sell out?

I'll admit the art in the preview looks nice but maybe I didn't look carefully enough 'cause I don't see how it's related to Spawn.

Well i love the SPawn story arc. Honestly i think his whole story makes more sence that other characters, for example Hellboy. but that a different issue. anyway yeh Spawn is one of the best characters i know, if he's to dark for you then try reading Ghostrider, Blade or Batman. but i'm happy reading Spawn.

this is a guy that knows. Spawn is not only the most interestin hero, he is the most realistic. He is the man

Spawn is the best comic character i've ever read.

im a fan of spawn i thank he one the most kick ass characters, and oh yeah spawn could of beat batman, that comicbook was a letdown.

I like spawn. I've just gotten into him.

you don't get anything like the Vertigo titles with Spawn. There is a shallow plot and even shallower themes. But i just love that ugly thing. With his laconic one-liners. He's such a badass. A favorite since '97 for me.

Eh...I almost got into him but the character was a little too dark and "Demonic" for my tastes. He got Waaaaaaaaaaaay too over powered. They said Spawn can beat God, Okay, C'mon. I'll take Ghost Rider instead.

Spawn is my favourite character simply because he lives in a world without other heroes running around like headless chickens. But don’t get me wrong there are people out there with powers but they don’t always choose to be a hero or villain and that’s what I think is realistic about spawn, because some people just want to live their lives. Also there is no wrong or right religion in spawn, all the religions and gods that are worshiped in our world are real in spawns universe and not all of them are as they seem. Also, stories in spawn follow historic events which also somehow leads directly or indirectly to why spawn is spawn.

Anyway yeah spawn is the shizzle, other heroes face his wrath!!!

Spawn is hella boring to me.He can't die and can't lose.Almost can never be the unerdog.I never expect him to lose.

I like Spawn. He has had some issues in the past though (Spawn vs Batman) but I still like him.

no he can and dose lose fights... there are so many layers to spawns world and more powerful creatures that can kill spawn by taking his very soul away or doing something crazy that will banish him forever. where they are at the moment? I don't know, probably on another world in spawns universe somewhere. Also in spawns universe heaven and hell are not the only realms that supernatural creatures can reside and in hell there are so many layers as to the deeper you go the more powerful the creatures become. God and Satan were the most powerful creatures in spawns world but on other worlds other gods rain supreme.

I actually picked up issue 175. They have a new colorist, Geirrod Van Dyke. He does some kick-@$$ work. I haven't bought an issue of Spawn since 100.

I grew up reading Spawn its an awesome comic

I've have only been collecting the TPB so far, and they are good.

spawn is cool loved the HBO C.T.

I think he's awesome, but he has had alot of bad run ins with alt. media (movies,games, ect.)
