Twitch has been shot, Max is still trapped, and now something horrible has escaped from the basement.
Max remains at his fathers side, praying that he doesn't lose his father.
Meanwhile Al has bigger problems to deal with, for he is locked in combat with a ghoulish beast, that apparently feeds off the pain and suffering of others.
Spawn is later able to defeat this creature, but with a small side effect; now the entire building is imploding, causing spawn to think fast. Luckily spawn is able to save Twitch, and his son, and soon the whole family reunites with Twitch in a local hospital.
Even Sam comes to visit him.
