Spawn awakes from a dream similar to a basic somewhat corny, saturday morning cartoon style dream, one where he's actually loved, and adored for the hero he is. It is possible this could've been inspiration for the Adventures of Spawn series.
Eventually spawn awakes at the home of Nyx, who tells him he's been sleeping for 3 days. He tells her he feels guilty for all the horrible things he's done. Nyx responds by telling him that he's human now, that he's been given a second chances, and now he has an oppurtunity to right all those wrongs. Al agrees, and then makes his way to the alley to rescue an old friend. It is there that he meets The Discarded ones, creatures similar to The Heap.
Meanwhile Jason Wyn is continuasally haunted by an invisible clown who calls himself the violator.
