Originally called Lycra-Woman and Spandex Girl* in 1992, with a series planed, after the first one, involving summer vacation, dinosaurs and Christmas, this was all stopped when Du Pont sue the creators for using the word Lycra in the title, a word they owned the rights to.
As such all copies of Lycra-Woman and Spandex Girl # 1 had to be recalled and destroyed, with only a few rare copies existing that were bought before the recall.
Two years later they came back with it renamed Spandex Tights and Lycra Woman given a new name.
