Plot Summary
Overview
It's the real Space Ghost in a way that's never been seen before anywhere - in all-out super-hero action! The cartoon hero is the star of the 6-issue miniseries SPACE GHOST, written by Joe Kelly (SUPERMAN, JLA) with stunning painted art by Ariel Olivetti (JLA: HAVEN) and painted covers by Alex Ross (JLA: LIBERTY & JUSTICE), that sheds light on this mysterious figure's shadowy past.
A young policeman joins an elite space force that turns out to be horribly corrupt. When his moral standards don't permit him to live a lie, our hero attempts to stop them…at the cost of his own family - and his soul!
Witness the origin of one of the most beloved super-heroes ever!

As I grew up watching Space Ghost both 1966 and 1981 with Space Stars along with Spider-Man and His Amazing Friend every Saturday Moring on TV, so one might think when hearing that seeing Issue#1 that it may really campy like old TV show or the Space Ghost Coast to Coast, But I was rather happily shock when I read it was not at all want I was suspecting it would be, it’s like Punisher cross with the GREEN LANTERN….I think all who were involved should have gotten a Eisner for this whole arc my hat is off to Ariel Olivetti, Alex Ross, Richard Starkings, Joe Kelly and Joey Cavalieri for giving new life to old child hood hero ( Space Ghost Battle Cry : Spaaaace Ghost !!!!!!) it’s real shame that it short lived arc I think this would really be a cool on going arc for D.C to run with . But who knows some may pick up the challenge True Believers ?
