Sosuke Aizen, The Best Villain Ever.

Sosuke Aizen has gotten lots of respect in the anime/manga forums but its time for the comic crowd to see Aizen has the epic character he is.

His Confidence.

Aizen has displayed extreme confidence in him self as well a his underlings, he even allowed him self to be caught in Yamamoto's Flame Prison and allowing his top three Espada's to kill the shinigami (even tho they failed). He even allowed ichigo and his friends to enter hueco mundo just to test there abilities against his army.

His Planning Ability.

He has displayed that he is extreme long term thinker, and has tricked and used several people on his side as well as his opposition to get what he wants

2. Quickly Learning Shinji Hirako's Bankai Ability And Then Quickly Defeating Him

5. Taking On Several Captain Level Fighters An Defeating Them All.

I'll simply name a villain off the top of my head. He isn't my favorite but he is the top 10. He is far greater then Aizen. He is no were near as powerful but he is the better villain.

Ladd Russo from Baccano!

Ladd is a man of few wants. He enjoys talking a lot and slaughtering a lot.

Shoots child in the face (Note the child is immortal. But Ladd does not know this.)

Happily steals the scene with excitement and kills two of his own men for fun

Ladd beats Graham (Graham is a bullet timer with super strength and a giant wrench)

Other Notable feats

Ladd survived an encounter with Vino (Vino is literally the most powerful human on the planet. He is capable of soloing most of his verse which includes Immortals, vampires, talking swords, superhumans, werewolves and demons) Of course Ladd lost the battle and an arm. But still impressive that he survived at all.

Ladd crushed an entire prison full of ruff inmates (He only used one arm to do it)

He punched an immortal in the face. It was mush afterwards

Ladd punched a wall with his metal arm (It shook the entire section of a wall)

Ladd defeat a group of supernatural foes. The enemy he was facing was capable of switching his mind into multiple bodies. All the bodies attacked Ladd. He killed them all.

Ladd is a normal human in world of supernatural beings and high powered humans

Anyway Ladd is better for the simple reason that he is more fun. He steals the show when he shows up. He was also created by the better writer. (Yes I went there)
