The last chance for Sega to make up for the recent failings of the console Sonic games. I hope that they also release this for Wii-seriously, the game is on par with Mario Galaxy graphically, I'm sure that they could pull it off. Anyways:

What we know:

It's a "2.5D" game, which means it has fully 3D graphics but with a 2D playing engine-it seems to be much like Sonic Rush for DS (including the apparent Boost move).

It will occasionally move into 3rd person view for some Sonic and The Secret Rings-esque speed platforming.

Graphical style would appear to point to a PS3/360 release (my opinion was said earlier)

I hope this game rocks.

It is comfirmed as a multi-platform release-meaning that it's definitely confirmed for the 360 and also the Wii. Booyah!

Am I the only one who's feeling that Nintendo is gearing up to buy Sega? I mean, recently all games that involve Sonic are Nintendo systems exclusive.

Yeah. But really, Sega has only released games for Nintendo recently. Sega has seen better days. Connect the dots and you can see the biggest takeover in history.

The Sonic RPG is for DS......

This isn't exclusive, so the Wii version might look worse than the screenshots and trailer. Sega had the page on 1up take the pics and trailer down, so you'll have to go to Youtube or Google if you wanna see em.

Found out some more weird stuff-apparently there is a gimmick in the game where (brace yourselves for a "WTF?") Sonic turns into a werewolf.
