    Eggman's Still Missing His Pingas

If you check out my account on Comic Vine's sibling site Giant Bomb, you'll learn something about me: Sonic is one of the biggest influences in my life. His games may be a joke now, but in the 90's he was no laughing matter. Many people fondly remember the SatAM tv show (which I honestly don't like too much compared to AoSth), well, this comic began as a continuation of that show. They've added tons of their own characters as well as integrated the newer ones from the games (heck, they actually made Shadow cool, if at least for a moment)

I discovered that this comic existed back when Sonic Adventure 2 happened. They were at #94 or so. The very last comic I bought was number 100. You can see how long I've been out of the loop of whatever's going on in this comic. Thankfully, I did skim #200, so I'm up to speed somewhat. Sonic's continuous triumphs has rendered our favorite mad scientist insane, and now Snively and his girlfriend the Iron Queen have taken over the Eggman Empire, and locked Robotnik in a padded cell.

    Now, onto #205.

Yeah, Robotnik's still crazy. But he's still Robotnik. In his insane babbles he manages to say his voice operated override and escape his padded cell. He takes a giant turtle robot and sets out the find Sonic. It doesn't take him long to cause enough trouble to bring the cornhog to him.

Sonic has pity for Eggman, since it was him who drove him insane in the first place. He gets Tails to easily disarm the robot. He reasons that Robotnik would be safer away from the "Iron Goons" and offers him a helping hand, but the mad scientist won't cooperate.

I know it's Sonic, but everything in this comic moves by to freakin' fast for me, and barely anything interesting actually happened (but they've clearly hinted at some sabotage within the Iron Army or whatever they are). For the time being the cover is a lie (no surprise there), but there's more issues for this arc. I might as well go ahead and see where it goes.

I was a fan of Matt Herms years before he started coloring fo this comic, and the current artist definately trumps whoever on Earth they had back in 90-100, despite some hiccups every here and there.
