    @Shadowdoggy:  I have to agree with every one of those points.  As a feminist myself, I agree that it's pretty sad with all those points.
    But it's a Songbird solo with Jim McCann!  I mean, it would show that there's interest in the character.
    And thankfully, Land is only doing the cover...a horribly traced cover.  That and the mall thing is most likely a page long.  It's tacky, but if this is the first step for a Songbird push, then I'll take it!

    I was wondering about her hair. I didn't recognize her at first when I picked up that issue of Thunderbolts. Melissa Gold is awesome. 
     
    And yes, having beautiful women in comic books is great and all, but we don't need flat out exploitation like the X-Women book (and possibly this one, though I haven't read it yet) I wish they could push this whole Women of Marvel kick they are on without resorting to selling sex.

    I agree.  X-Women was shameful in excecution.
    But I have faith in this because it's several writers and not just some guy sexing them all up.
    That and it's Jim McCann doing the Songbird story.  He was capable of making Mockingbird one of my favorite characters and he didn't rely on sex at all.  He also did that great Dazzler one shot.  I can GUARANTEE you that Jim will NOT rely on sleazy sex gimmicks!
