    A Good Second Episode 0

    In episode 2 ('The Deadly Millstone'), Zorro rescues Kate Wells but loses all the supplies for the road when the bad guys roll flaming barrels at the wagon to set off its load of explosives. The authorities refuse to prosecute the villains because the crime occurred outside the county. After that, Jeff Stewart convinces a wealthy miner to donate some gold to the building of the road, but the bad guys get wind of it and chase the party back to the mine where both Kate and Zorro end up in the path...

    Some Clever Ideas for a Standard Horse Opera 0

    There are some clever ideas in this otherwise standard horse opera. At the end of last chapter, Zorro and Kate were caught in a canyon with a cart full of explosives as the bad guys rolled flaming coal barrels down at them. This episode, as you can probably predict from the title, ends up with Kate about to be crushed by a giant mill stone.
