    Sojourn

I only learned, a few days ago, in English class what the word Sojourn means and now that I know it I realize it does sum up the entire volume.

This entire volume is interesting but it is ever-changing as it tells of Drizzt's first attempts at friendship on the surface world. Most of them ending in horrible failures, even deaths of the innocent.

But eventually he meets a Blind Ranger who quickly befriends the Drow and from him learns much...thus becoming a Ranger himself. But alas, even this had to end when the old Ranger finally died and Drizzt fulfilled his promise to move on.

This comic introduces a great cast of characters, however, you must still be prepared to not grow attached to any of them because they only get left behind...
