The bow of Ayden
I guess this is the kind of issue that those who are not familiared with the Crossgen universe would not like, because it´s filled with riddles and dubious answers, something that´s commom in this genre created by Alessi and Gina. But, despite that information, I really liked this issue because of the importance given to Arwyn: that´s the first time a non Sigil bearer becomes the main character of a Crossgen comic book! The mysterious woman (Neven) that helped Arwyn and Gareth to escape from the clucthes of the trolls, after telling them the story behind Mordath´s resurrection, presents her with Ayden´s bow (Read the prequel, so you´ll be safe). Like I said before, this issue slows the pace and it´s a little repetitive, despite the beautiful art. But I was a little disapointed because of the dialogues, since they could have been more fancy and less condescendent and patronizing. Still, a great issue.
