Hi Guys,
                I Don't read comics alot due to the fact that there is'nt a comic book store near me but i know a little and something that got me wondering was the character mon-el from dc is pretty much another superman and he draws his power from the sun and is from the planet daxam and so is the character sodam yat but he does'nt have the superman abilites so how is this. The only explination I could come up with is that mon-el's people have evolved since the 21st century but is their an offical reson for this

Superman is a Krypotian, while Mon-el is a Daxamite. That's probably why.

Maybe because Sodam Yat would have to be under a yellow sun to receive those powers...

2 of the three people above obviously have not read anything about the character.

Sodam Yat has shown these abilities when he is under a yellow sun.

So to clarify sodam yat does have superman like abilities.
