She first appeard in the TV series "Smallville", but was adapted into the mainstream comic books a few years later.
Tess Mercer was born as Lutessa Lena Luthor and was the sister of Lex Luthor and the daughter of Lionel Luthor. She became a Checkmate agent and after Lex's disappearance, she took over LuthorCorp. Tess also became the second operator of the Watchtower and a member of the Justice League, but was murdered by her own brother. Months later, it was discovered that Tess's spirit is caught in Lex's mind and was freed by her friends later.
Otis is one of Lex Luthors employees. He was created for the film "Superman" (1978) and was later introduced into the "Smallville: Season 11" comics.
Bruce Wayne, who witnessed the murder of his billionaire parents as a child, swore to avenge their deaths. He trained extensively to achieve mental and physical perfection, mastering martial arts, detective skills, and criminal psychology. Costumed as a bat to prey on the fears of criminals, and utilizing a high-tech arsenal, he became the legendary Batman.

Barbara Gordon was the first modern age Batgirl until she was brutally shot by the Joker, rendering her paralyzed from the waist down. Hailing from the 30th century, Bart Allen is the grandson of the Flash, Barry Allen and Iris Allen. Originally using the name Impulse and trained by Max Mercury, Bart utilizes the same powers of super-speed possessed by his grandfather and fights crime alongside the Teen Titans, known as Kid Flash and Wally West's sidekick.
Colonel Steve Trevor is a military officer who is the original love interest of Wonder Woman and the very first man she has laid eyes on. In various incarnations, his status in the military has gone from being in the Army Air Corps, to being an Air Force pilot, to the current incarnation of being a Navy SEAL. He is now a U.S. Government Agent and head of A.R.G.U.S.. He was also co-leader and a member of the Justice League of America.
The Amazon princess, blessed with god-like super abilities, Wonder Woman is one of Earth's most powerful defenders of peace, justice, and equality and a member of the Justice League. She is considered an archetype for many heroines outside of comic book. Her initial origin depicted her as a clay baby brought to life by patron goddess Aphrodite, but in recent years she has been depicted as the daughter of Zeus and Amazon queen Hippolyta.
With his organic parts genetically identical to Superman's, many believed that the former astronaut Hank Henshaw truly was the Last Son of Krypton restored to life after his death at the hands of Doomsday. Until he destroyed Coast City in Superman's name which led Hal Jordan to becoming a villain known as Parallax. Since then he has become a permanent menace for Superman and Green Lantern.

After his wife became terminally ill, Dr. Victor Fries devoted his life to saving her and used cryogenics to freeze her to get time to find a cure. After being attacked by his boss Ferris Boyle and exposed to some of his chemicals, Fries could only survive in sub-zero temperatures and built a special suit to keep himself alive, becoming Mr Freeze.
