Ever since the dawn of mankind, humanity has been threatened by the forces of darkness. Creatures with abilities far beyond those of man, capable of destroying everything that human beings stand for. The only line of defense, separating humans from extinction at the hands of these monsters, is the Slayer. One girl blessed with the necessary powers and skills needed to fight these unholy beasts; cursed with the fate to give up her own life in the never-ending struggle between good and evil.

In modern times, the Slayer has to fight an anonymous fight, since modern society does not believe in the paranormal. She risks her life every night doing a thankless job.

When a Slayer is killed, another girl, predestined to be the new one, will take on the mantle of the Slayer and gain her abilities, continuing the battle against the hellish creatures that roam the earth.
