An Irish warrior based on Celtic myths made famous by the 2000AD series. As Slaine starts his journey he is an exile and a wanderer. He would rise to be a champion, a king and even a God. He would face immortals, demons and change history.

Danu is one of the few original Goddesses. The druids, who dislike the rule of women, would try to replace her with male gods. Slaine is her champion and he, and other tribes allied with her follower her without question. She is the embodiment of nature and is both wild and ordered. She floods the great and destroys the cities since cities are alien to nature and the tribes were losing touch with their roots.

Avagddu is the son of the earth goddess and a tainted, brute of a demon. Avagddu is misshaped and covered with boils; he also has only one good eye. He is the dark side of the Earth Power personified.
