Cool Mini or Not, makers of the hugely successful Zombicide series of tabletop games, currently have a new Kickstarter running for their tabletop game Rum & Bones, which features highly detailed miniatures, like all of Cool Mini or Not's games. They've teamed up with SKULLKICKERS, a book from Image written by Jim Zub, to bring some of the characters from that book to life. Here's the description for the game.

Rum & Bones is a miniatures board game where players control fantastic pirate crews engaged in fierce combat. Inspired by MOBA style video games, Rum & Bones’ gameplay is deep, fast-paced, and highly strategic. The game pits two pirate factions, controlled by 2 to 6 players, whose ships are locked in combat, with each crew attempting to board the enemy ship and disable it.

The newest addition to the game, announced today, is that you can add on characters from the comic series to your game. Here's what's being offered.

For $25, you get the five new characters from the comic series to use in the game, each with their own abilities to use in the game. Here's a sample of Shorty's and Baldy's bios and player cards from the game.

You can get these figures by pledging for the game, then paying an extra $25 for the figures. To find out more about Rum & Bones, like gameplay and how it all works, check out the official Kickstarter page for the game. The deadline for pledging is December 28th, 2015.

I'm a huge Zombicide fan, and I was already pledged for this game. If you like tabletop games, then check these guys out. They know what they're doing... Plus, Skullkickers!
