Skids's team affiliations

The Acolytes are a group of mutants that followed Magneto's ideals and believed in a society where humans are dominated by mutants. Magneto is one of the most infamous and powerful Marvel villains, bent on affirming homo superior's birthright as homo sapien's successors. He has a long and sordid past with Charles Xavier.

Gathered from the corners of the Earth by Stryfe and manipulated to fight for a cause he himself did not believe in, the MLF were terrorist pawns fighting to end humanity's dominance over mutants.

S.H.I.E.L.D. is a U.N. affiliated intelligence agency dealing primarily with terrorism and superhuman threats. S.H.I.E.L.D. was originally founded by the U.S. government.

The original X-Men disassociated with the current team because Professor X had placed their old nemesis Magneto as its leader. The five set up a business advertised as mutant-hunters for hire, headquartered in downtown New York City, posing as "normal" (non-superpowered) humans to their clients. The mutants X-Factor captured were secretly trained to control their powers and reintegrated into society. Through their "mutant-hunting" they recruited a group of young wards that would later take on the name X-Terminators when the original X-Factor move on to other ventures. Skids was one of the young wards that were "captured" by the original X-Terminators. He would stay on as part of the younger version of the team. They would utilize the name X-Terminators until they the team disbands.
