The Incredible Hulk
is a comic volume from Marvel Publishing that started in 2009
The current Hulk volume, starting with issue #600. Now for all of you asking yourselves, where does the 600 come from, surely there haven't been 599 consecutive Hulk comics have there? The answer is quite simple, Marvel cheated a little...but theoretically this is where they pulled the numbers from.
Tales to Astonish (1-101) Although this series birth predates the Hulk's by a few years, it is counted because he eventually took over the series in it's later years...ironically, the Incredible Hulk series that Hulk first appeared in is not included in the 599 issues predating the premiere issue of this volume.
The Incredible Hulk (102-474) This series continued it's numbering from Tales to Astonish but after it's conclusion, Marvel quit using the numbering that would eventually lead to 600 and restarted everything.
Hulk (475-485) For an incredibly short time, Marvel decided to simply use the title Hulk and so a mere 11 issues were published until they realized that "Hulk" just didn't have enough pizazz.
Incredible Hulk (486-586) This series continued it's numbering from Hulk and so began with issue 12 and continued up until issue 112 before another name-changing gimmick came along and wait a minute...Incredible Hercules? That's right, this whole journey that should lead us to Hulk brings about another twist as the Incredible Hercules series is still in print when The Incredible Hulk #600 comes out.
The other 15 issues come from somewhere, though where is for you to decide, though in theory it would be from the volume, Hulk, even though 15 issues aren't in print yet.
