You're my boy Blue
I mean that, not just quoting Will Ferral, Blue is living out the fantasy for the everyman.
Anyone who has been a desk jockey, stuck in a rut, living day to day without any change or excitement can relate. Blue goes Blister west. And in doing so provides the reader and the views at home in the book, a break from the mundane. The art in the book is does so as well, expressions and action panels are not typical, which is a good change for standard panel story telling.
The book's core concept is exceptional, which in my opinion is 'get out there and live, listen to stories of those around you and become the story'. The Gorilla is a kin to Blonde from the Eastwood Spaghetti Westerns adding additional already tasty flavors of Sci Fi elements. It's a mixture of Truman Show and the Good, the Bad and the Ugly. I will be wearing my 'Free Blue' button for the next three issues.
