    Origin

Sinsear was a man in Cable's future. He was mortally injured in an explosion and was found by Cable and his Clan Chosen mates. Unlike many enemies that carry grudges for pain actually inflicted, Sinsear held his grudge because Cable would not end Sinsear's life. Instead, Cable merely alerted Sinsear's allies, an act that got the man the attention he needed, but would also painfully transform him into the one-man army who would be credited with killing thousands upon thousands.

    Creation

Sinsear was created by Fabian Nicieza and Art Thibert.

    Character Evolution

Sinsear begins life as a normal man who gets twisted into a machine. Once a cyborg, Sinsear goes through various forms of training and painful tests before he is given his primary objectives.

Sinsear begins as a weapon of General Haight and lays waste to thousands upon thousands of lives. He and Cable have many battles. He is eventually instructed to travel to the present and kill two timetravellers. The first is called The Other, which ends up being Tyler Dayspring, who had taken on the name of Tolliver, an arms dealer. Tyler had been a Canaanite who travelled to the past to help in the ascension of Apocalypse but had then gone rogue. The second target is Cable, which is a more personal vendetta.

Upon arriving in the present he learns that most people thing Tyler, or Tolliver, to be dead. Knowing otherwise, he determines to strike in a different manner – he’ll go after Cable first since he’s learned that Cable is Tyler’s father.

Sinsear monitors Cable before finally confronting him. He phases Cable (sans any sort of weapon) into a fortress and the two battle mightily. Sinsear gets the upperhand by having a pylon suck the energy out of Cable’s mechanical parts. He then sends a flying razor blade to kill Cable. Sinsear’s plans are thwarted, however, when Cable gets access to his control center and disables it. Sinsear is then beaten within an inch of his life and has to teleport away. As he does so, he drops a chip for Cable containing information on Tolliver.
