Once considered the greatest Green Lantern in any sector, Sinestro came to believe that the only way to ensure order in the universe was through the reign of fear, a crime for which the Guardians banished him to Qward. There he created the first yellow power ring and later on founded his own corps, The Sinestro Corps. He has clashed frequently with his former student and protege; Hal Jordan. The relationship between the two is a complicated one, a mixture of both hatred and respect in equal measures.
he wants order and peace...but he's willing to do bad things to accomplish his goals.
Sound like Magneto to me. Like I've been saying Magneto is an anti-hero and people still think he's a villain.
Community: I kind of noticed that everyone can be a hero or an anti-hero to everyone, but when it comes to Magneto he's a "VILLAIN" period. Sound more like a hypocrite to me because the majority of you people know that he's an anti-HERO, period. Same goes to Punisher.
Sinestro seems to think himself more of a hero than a villain. He believes the universe can be moderated for the greater good by the use of fear. In regards to the way he sees the Green Lantern Corps, the peacekeeping force aren't efficient and worthy enough to take order in the universe. Since 99% of the Green Lantern Corps is going to be no longer existent in the main universe, Sinestro is going to continue to build his corps and try to take full control as his own advantage it seems.
