    Once considered the greatest Green Lantern in any sector, Sinestro came to believe that the only way to ensure order in the universe was through the reign of fear, a crime for which the Guardians banished him to Qward. There he created the first yellow power ring and later on founded his own corps, The Sinestro Corps. He has clashed frequently with his former student and protege; Hal Jordan. The relationship between the two is a complicated one, a mixture of both hatred and respect in equal measures.

    I doubt that it will last past Blackest Night #8....all the covers for issues after that show him back in his Sinestro Corps uniform

    i agree. pretty much the same as Hal as Parallax. one of my only gripes with BN has been that theirs so
    many huge things packed into all the issues that come and go like the wind, even though they we're cool
    to see.

    It was pretty funny to see Sinestro shove Hal outta the way considering the biggest gripe about Hal is that he's always the focal point and over shadows everyone. An example was Hal and Parallax showing up and Sinestro unsuccessfully trying to merge with it. Nice to see him 'take' Entity.
     
    What now? I Entity doesn't REALLY fit as 'life' would mean he can't kill anything. Maybe he can destroy unnatural creation or bring people back but, killing things? Can't see it. As Sinestro made his Corps and the GLC being allowed to kill a priority, its too odd to be permanent. 
     
    Going foreword I'd like to eventually see the corps seeking out their embodiments. Sinestro and Parallax (which WILL happen SOMEDAY) is overdue IMO. 
     
    On a side note, I know Sodam is presumed dead but where the hell is Ion as an entity? I have a hard time believing its gone. You'd think Blackest Night would have been a good time to bring it back?

    I like Sinestro its kinda nice to see him as the White Lantern he was after all the best lantern the corps had before his fall

    Sorta predictable, but it was better than them choosing Dove. I love Dawn, but that would have just too "you saw it coming". Sinestro as a white lantern could make for some intresting plot twists.

    I am honestly disappointed with this outcome. Personally, I believe Hal Jordan should've become the White Lantern. I can't stop asking myself; Why Sinestro? Hopefully DC will explain why soon.
