Sinde's story begins 10,000 years ago when Shao Kahn invaded her kingdom of Edenia. She was forced to watch as King Jerrod (her husband) was killed, her people enslaved and her daughter Kitana was adopted by Shao Kahn. This was too much for her and she commited suicide.
