    The Rurouni Kenshin Profiles

The Demon has written 1 review. His/her last review was for The Bald Man and the Sea.

NOTE: Technically, Rurouni Kenshin is a manga series, but as the word 'manga' is not often used in the English vocabulary it is called a 'comic book'.

THE REVIEW: The book 'The Rurouni Kenshin Profiles' has many beautiful pictures, however, the main content in the book is unsatisfactory. It's annoying how they say things like "Her heart calls out!" and "Number One in toughness!". This makes it sound like a crappy newspaper or an ad for a product.

Also, they focus too much on minor battles, such as the battle between Kenshin and Tsukioka Tsunan. That fight shouldn't even be in the book, it's so minor. Seriously, their fight lasted about a minute.

The series itself is very good, just not this book about it.

THE GOOD SIDE OF THE BOOK:

It includes a pull-out poster and pretty good information, and has a section where it discusses Kenshin's attacks so fans can better understand how Kenshin pulls off each move.
