From the little I know about him, I thought Nova was Marvel's answer to GL.

Then again, I know next to nothing about cosmic characters. Marvel's anyway.

I admit theres the cosmic/space thing going on, but I think the two charecters are completly different. The reason they faught in Marvl vs DCis that they are evenly matched power wise.

not really. it was more of an iconic/popularity thing. I mean hell, they had Wolverine fight Lobo in that series....

Well...in the spirit of Marvel/DC crossovers, I just think Kyle and Norrin were teamed up because there are similarities in their power set and many of their stories are against the back drop of " - fill in the blank - " part of the universe. Other than that, despite aforementioned similarites, I really see these two characters as pretty unique.

I always felt like Silver Surfer was one of he few characters who doesn't have much of an equivalent in the other major company.

No, but I think that the White Lanterns are DC's answer to him.

I think there is no other character in all the universe as cool as as awesome as the Silver Surfer. He chooses his fights and he can do so much. My all time favorite character because he can simply decide to fly away and leave the drama behind. I mean who would not like to do that?

he's marvel's premier cosmic hero like lantern but that's all they have in common. these two otherwise couldnt be anymore different
