" @Fresh Prince said:The first issue just didn't live up to all the hype it was getting. It seemed like they rushed the issue and forced everything." It didn't but the dialogue was good enough for me atleast for now. I know Thor isn't really down and I'm expecting a real Thor and Sentry rematch next issues
Oh I think this was barely a sampling guys. Once Everyone gets in it, Im gonna geek.
The Hood, Secret Warriors and Nick Fury, Thunderbolts, New Avengers. Mighty Avengers, and maybe even the Agents of Atlas. Can't wait. Thor will come back and I think Ares is def gonna change sides.
Preview to #2:
Besides when has being in one comic ever stopped someone from being in another. Wolverine does it all the time xD
lol
mebbe. but like is i said, BRB is my favorite character. so personally i hope not
because i frankly dont want Bendis touching him.lol.
" @CATMANEXE: My main problem with the battle Thor just had with Norman and company is how easily they took him down. While a good amount of those people all attacked him while he was fighting Bor and he considered them little more than a nuisance. "I know! In just one page... Although Thor did slap Sentry away like he was nothing. But yeah, during the fight with the Bor they didn't even phase him.
i like Bendy but i think he comes into work drunk sometimes if you know what i mean.
" @Korg: lol. yup. same team he touted on the news fighting the Avengers Resistance "fugitives". i like Bendy but i think he comes into work drunk sometimes if you know what i mean. "I have to apportion some of the blame to the editors. This is a huge event, and the very first issue has printing and continuity errors.
" @Andferne said:Agree. After the blast, Thor got up to his feet then got taken out by one punch from Norman." @CATMANEXE: My main problem with the battle Thor just had with Norman and company is how easily they took him down. Which mess up did you see? I'd be happy to point out another. Also, it is explicitly stated on panel that Thor has been taken down." I only saw one mess up and it was done AFTER it was approved and went to print, nothing they could do, Thor isn;t "Taken down" he's merely on the ground, which happens every flipping time he fights "
While he is down on the ground, he's not dead or knocked out, he's laying bloody and getting up as we see in the Siege #2 preview. This happens every time Thor fights, as it does with Wolverine and Ares. Brawl + Brawlers = Bloody fights in which people get knocked to the ground.
Not saying he's not down on the ground, just that he's not down and out of the fight
Only the Media states that, and all we have to do is look at the previews or read the interviews or twitter feeds or have a basic knowledge of the story arc to understand he is of course not down and out of the fight, merely down for a moment which happens often
Top panel, you can see Thor raising his hand
" Don't go oh lord this is bs, when thor always gets knocked around, so what he's down for a moment, big deal he'll get up. That's all I was saying don;t make a thing out of it =) he's down for a moment not the count, "I have no idea what most of this means. I was just correcting you when you said that Thor wasn't "taken down", which he clearly was. You seem to realize this, so I'm not sure where the "don't make a thing out of it" comment comes from.
You know what's funny? If you take Ares out of the equation...Osborn doesn't have anyone besides Sentry who stands a chance in the fight.
"You know what's funny? If you take Ares out of the equation...Osborn doesn't have anyone besides Sentry who stands a chance in the fight. "
Unless he pulls out his secret weapon. Which doesn't suprise me, Ares already didn't like Norman's plan, so him turning on him sounds about right, plus I like Ares, he's not dumb and is doing his best to fight for good.
" You know what's funny? If you take Ares out of the equation...Osborn doesn't have anyone besides Sentry who stands a chance in the fight. "not even correct, nor close to it.
" @War Killer: haha no it's not. Not even close from what Tom told me, sounds like it's going to be all out war on Norm. "Yeah, but with how #60 left off, Norman told the Hood's gang that they have to kill the New Avengers. I think the next issue (#61) is on Cap (Steve), at least I hope it is.
"Yeah but they're sick of this whole Norm in charge thing and now it's not just Clint, they're all ready for a fight. (ACDC plays on the radio) *spoiling for a fight* "Yeah, but even Clint agreed (in the Annual) that his way was wrong, and now that Steve's back, they will hopefully take a bigger role then have been lately.
" @War Killer: Ha Clint was retarded going in alone, his only saving grace was that he admitted it LOL "
Hey, at least he did try something, I mean the New Avengers were just sitting there, he at least went out and did something (or at least tried) to stop Norman. But he did see that he was making a mistake and has learned from that.
