Not that bad, but pretty close.

OK. Siege. Bendis is just so full of crap, especially with New Avengers, and Dark Avengers. That has really turned me off from the Siege. Not to mention Tom Breevort saying the Siege would "destroy" Blackest Night. So as in Dark Avengers Annual, and Siege: The Cabal One-Shot, We see a ripoff of Civil War where The Hood's Gang attack Volstagg, and cause an explosion in Soldier Field, and kill a bunch of people. I'm sorry, but why the fuck is Volstagg in CHICAGO where asgard is floating over OKLAHOMA? There's some terrible writing for you right there. Anyway, Soldier Field is blown up by Osborn in retaliation for Obama rejecting his request for attacking Asgard. So then Ares says if Osborn is lying he will behead him (please do so Ares). Then he gives a really shitty speech to a bunch of villains, who could give a fuck what he's saying. Then, Thor being beaten up a bunch of low-rate villains, whatever. Anyway a Bendis book is sure to suck, but it actually didn't as much as I expected. The only parts of the story I enjoyed was CNN filming Thor getting his ass kicked, and then Steve Rodgers ready to fight, dressed as Captain America. That's it. Oh yeah, Olivier Copiel's art fucking rocked! That was the BEST part, definitley Copiel. I'm expecting it turn into Bendis shit in the next issue, but I could be wrong, so we'll see what happens. But this does NOT have the material to destroy Blackest Night, Tom Breevort!

      The Attack Is On 0

So i'm sitting here thinking, there's no way this can possibly be good. We all know who's going to come back... they're on the cover, right? Really, that is only the beginning. the war is on and so far Norman is off to a head start. This book contains little to no resistance against Osborn's army of super humans but does a great job setting things up and answering the question, of Norman really being a threat to Asgard.I really like the idea that I'm not asking who will die or who will be resurr...

Siege begins as the hammer comes down hard and another falls 0

We all knew Osborn's time in power would never last forever and this seems to be the beginning of the end of Dark Reign. People have complained about Bendis' writing but doesn't disappoint here. The story begins with Osborn staging an attack  on the Asgardian Volstagg who is wondering around helping people like Thor but doesn't understand that he is allot stronger than the average person is attacked by the U-Force causing the destruction of Soldier Field as well as parts of Chicago. This gives O...
