Shrugged # 4 - 14 Scoops of Vanilla Fudge Ripple

The issue opens with a scene showing Dev's friends playing a game in Nefario and wondering what has become of Dev. The scene changes to Theo's high school gymnasium, where Dev, now visible to all, is being mistaken for the school's new mascot. With Dev off of his shoulder, Ange is now the only one advising Theo and so Theo begins acting strangely well-mannered and straight-laced, causing friction between him and Kiori. Theo bumps into Walker, a school bully, and rather than telling him off, Theo apologizes for not paying attention to where he was going, much to the surprise of Kiori and Dev. Dev, disgusted with Theo's actions, tosses Theo into a sprinkler, jumps into the car of some thuggish looking students, and is gone. Theo makes a trip to the bathroom to give himself a comb-over hairdo, and then he and Kiori head out to look for Dev, who has been spending the day hanging out with other high school kids. Dev runs into Walker and the two seem about to fight when Thom shows up and distracts Dev. Theo and Kiori arrive and Dev runs for it. Theo, Walker, Kiori, and Thom make chase and catch up with Dev on the beach. They all begin arguing while Kiori walks a circle in the sand. The circle begins to glow around them and they find themselves teleported to Nefario.
