Showcase '94 was the DC Comics relaunch of the old Showcase series. Under this new format, each issue would contain three separate stories, with each issue starring someone from the Batman Family. Neal Pozner was the editor for the series until his death in 1994. This new version of Showcase also featured a lot of up-and-coming new writers and artists who would go on to create other series. This Showcase reincarnation started with Showcase '93 and would continue on to Showcase '96.
Showcase '94 crossed-over with the DC-wide Zero Hour story arc in issues 8-10, and featured a number of the New Blood heroes in backup stories. Stars of this run include the inmates from Arkham Asylum, Arsenal, Atom, Azrael, Ballistic, Black Condor, Bloodwynd, Blue Beetle, Gunfire, Huntress, Joker, Loose Cannon, Man-Bat, the New Gods, Oracle, Pax, Penguin, Razorsharp and the Psyba-Rats, Robin, Scarface, Sparx, Starfire, Terrorsmith, Triumph and Wildcat.
