Bloody Good Film, My Dear Watson!
I wasn't sure what to think of when I was about to see this movie but I found out that it was a very proper treat to go see it. In other words I found the film very well done. The movie starts out with Holmes and Watson solving a case and then they stop doing detective work for awhile and Holmes is restless and is bored of not doing detective work. Watson invites him out to dinner with his date because he says he needs to get out. Holmes later enters a boxing match and wins using intellect and martial arts. Sherlock is later invited to do some dectective work and accepts the invitation. The cultist that was put to death during his last case for attempted murder and practicing of Black Magic has seemed to risen from the grave;Sherlock wishes to prove this theory wrong. He does detective work with Dr.Watson and finds clues. Meanwhile the cultist remains active and seems to have obtained magical power on his return but this is later revealed to be well planned illusions. Sherlock Holmes finds a connection between thedeaths and knows his next target and he finds him and foils his plan. Robert Downey Jr. did a great job blending his brand of comedy to this intelligently made film with great action sequences. I give the movie 3 and 1/2 stars but I think I could give it 4 because usual ratings the highest rating is 4 stars but here it's 5 so I give it 3 and 1/2. Holmes really knows how to fight.
