Off to a good start... 0

When I heard that Moon Knight was gonna be a part of the Shadowland event, I got immediately excited, because I had the utmost faith that Hurwitz could do wonders with the character in that setting. So far, I haven't been let down. It's not perfect, but it's a helluva start. Basically, Steven Grant is the new dominant personality, and he's finally happy. Millionaire by day, Moon Knight by....well, by night, and the father of his love's baby. Unfortunately, Khonshu is not pleased by this. He's lo...

    Good #1 0

I was a little disappointed at the slow beginning of this issue.  But it did paint a dramatic picture that foreshadows the ending.  Daredevil wants Moon Knight?  What? Dead?  I'm not entirely sure what Daredevil's(or the one controlling Daredevil) motives are but it should make things interesting.  I certainly love the cover art here.  Francesco Mattina has definitely gone from unknown to me to being a Marvel artist to look for.  Even with the somewhat predictable story I am truly excited about ...

    Pleasantly Suprised 0

Let me start off by saying that I know next to nothing about Moon Knight...thus I did not go into this title expecting much. I would also like to say that I have been avoiding many of the tie in one shots, due to my financial restrictions and lack of desire, however after reading the Sahdowland Moon Knight tie In i can say that I was pleasantly surprised that i enjoyed this issue. for one thing what I liked a lot about the issue was the art work, specifically the pencil and ink work. I feel as i...

    Shadow/Moon Knights 0

Yet another great Shadowland story arc crossover! Jake (or Steve, it all depends on who you're talking to) seems to finally have everything going in the right direction. He bought a brand new mansion/base of operations, him and Frenchie are teamed-up like the old days with Crawley and Ray backing him up, he has Marlene living with him again SPOILER WARNING: Click here to reveal hidden content. (and she's pregnant!!), and he seems to have Khonshu and his hunger under control. But  Daredevil...

Lunar Looney or Victim of Khonshu? 0

ART : Let me say that the cover to this comic is one of the best I've seen in awhile.  It is beautiful.     The interior art, though, is a bit..off.  What could have been a truly amazing book gets dropped down a notch because the art is inconsistent and when some characters are portayed during their youth, the reader may not be able to discern exactly who the characters are.   From one page to the next, I had to look back and forth because the artist failed to keep the characters' appearances...

I Fought the Law and the Law Won 0

What is the law, you may ask? Don't judge a book by its cover. Sadly, I fought the age old law and I was promptly defeated. This is a horrible, horrible piece of writing that only has one particular saving grace; and that is the artwork. Without the artwork, and the absolutely amazing cover art, I would be struggling to even give this issue half a star. Allow me to justify my harsh attitude.  I knew only a very, very small bit about Moon Knight coming into this issue. I saw the cover in my stor...
