    Review: Shadowland #5 5

The end is here! Shadowland is over! Who survives? Who bites the bucket? The book started off with Daredevil seemingly in the grip of evil while New York City's heroes try to release him.  The Good Above all else, the pencils of Billy Tan, inks of Victor Olazaba, and the colors of "Guru eFx" is what makes this issue pop. No offense to the writing of Andy Diggle, which I enjoyed in this issue, but the art spoke for itself here. You don't even need the word balloons for the first half of the issue...

    Exorcizing DareDevil 1

I wasn't amazed or blown away here at all. I don't know if  SHADOWLAND 's 5 part series could possibly end well. It does give in to some surprising situations but it does have some disappointing ones too. It leaves a lot of questions unanswered too like i'm sure it's supposed to. DareDevil / The Beast has taken down most of the Marvel's superhero lot who have appeared in the series. Just when it looked like there wasn't  anyone else to battle Lord DareDevil the Beast, Ghost Rider  brings it on ...

Daredevil's Nonevent Comes to an End 0

Shadowland doesn't end with either a bang or a whimper. It kind of just decides it has gone on long enough and stops, releasing all the characters involved to go on to whatever is in store for them next and not really resolving anything. However, that isn't to say there was ever much about Shadowland to resolve. What was solicited to us as a story of Daredevil becoming corrupted by the Hand with his allies and enemies being divided on which side of his questionable actions they fall on became no...

A Bang that ends in a fizzle 4

By The Angry Comic Book Critic     Shadowland was a bang that ended in a fizzle The 1st issue was great You had DD in Black doing what he should have done years putting Bullseye in the ground after a royal ass kicking but as it progress I just stopped caring it just became a boring arc outside of the Daredevil tie-in's. The story wasn't god awful or anything but it was mediocre compared to what we where promised which was the birth of Marvels greatest Villain and this was no where near clo...

End of a not so great series 2

Shadowland reaches its climax and the fate of Daredevil's life hangs in balance. The StoryThe final battle for DareDevils soul and only the street level heroes are left to save him. The Good   The art was good. It was nice seeing into DD's mind . The fight scene's between DD and Ghost Rider were good but they felt very short.  The Bad This could have turned the whole series around. Something spectacular should've happened at the end e.g. kill Dardevil or make him take kill some people. Alot of s...
