The final battle for the soul of New York erupts in Hell's Kitchen, and Daredevil is on the front lines…Hell, he IS the front line! In the dungeons of Shadowland, Elektra and several Hand ninjas seal an access tunnel that is known only to those present and Daredevil. Once it is sealed, Elektra kills the ninjas and opens the tunnel for a group of heroes on the other side: Luke Cage, Iron Fist, Punisher, Spider-Man, Master Izo, Shang-Chi, and Wolverine. The group gathers and plans their attack. Elektra tells the group that if they do not move quickly enough, Daredevil will resurrect Bullseye. Master Izo tells them that the Beast has taken over Daredevil, but he should be able to cloud Daredevil’s senses long enough for them to get close and defeat him.
On a rooftop, Lady Bullseye asks Kingpin for permission to enter the battle. He tells her soon enough, but he has to move the “final pieces into position”.
In Shadowland’s main room, Daredevil attempts to resurrect Bullseye but is stopped by the group of heroes and realizes that Elektra betrayed him. The heroes engage Daredevil and eventually overtake him. However, Daredevil shakes off all the heroes, declaring that “there is no Murdock, only the Beast!"
