Shadowland #3 7
Despite what you may have heard Shadowland is actually pretty good. The main criticism of the series so far has been the plot and what has been done to Daredevil, and while I was alright with it, if you weren’t its explained this issue why he’s been so weird lately. I do have one complaint though that still doesn’t really seem to make sense and I won’t spoil it, but something Daredevil does at the end of the book is just kind of stupid. Enough about the plot though. Andy Diggle’s writing is...

Who's Who On the Streets of NYC 0
Shadowland so far has been a truly cinematic experience. Shadowland #3, though, is a fairly weak entry. The plot took a back seat for panels of BANG it's Ghost Rider, BANG it's Spider-man, and then quite literally, BANG it's the Punisher. While, I appreciate the fan service of seeing Marvel's finest street heroes fighting an old friend gone mad with power, I'd like it done a bit more tastefully. A few pages in, and I was tired of characters popping up with no introduction spouting self-conscious...

Shadowland Explains Itself But Doesn't Help Itself 0
My main criticism of Shadowland so far as been the over-the-top villainous behavior of Daredevil and how it undermines what should have made this event so interesting. It turns this into a simple hero vs. villain story rather than a more complicated story where friends and allies become enemies and old enemies become allies. This issue finally explains the sudden change in Daredevil's behavior, and... it may actually make the story worse. The explanation was already spoiled in interviews prior ...

Best Issue Yet! 0
First and foremost, this issue continues the trend of wonderful art in the Shadowland book! No matter what else, all these artists should be given some first class attention and when this limited run ends they should get their own books. The story is getting to the point and now with Elektra in it, we are in for one hell of a cool #4. I can't wait to see what happens, will Punisher kill Daredevil? Will Ghost Rider make Daredevil feel all the evils of the people he killed? What will happen? ...

Where´s Matt Murdock 1
The Story - In this issue we get some hints that: A) Matt Murdock has been replaced by someone ele or B) Matt Murdock has been fooled by the Hand´s elders and now he is going to become the vessel for their Beast. Either way DD as we known is no more: he´d authorized his ninjas to kill and murder his friends. The Writing - I´m not enjoying Moonknight´s participation in all this - ok, I guess Diggle has an important role reserved for him, that´s why he´s spying on Murdock; I´m not enjoying at all...

Review: Shadowland #3 0
When the assembled street-level heroes of New York are soundly trounced by Daredevil and the Hand, they must put their host in the least likely of saviors... Ghost Rider. The Good I could comment on the strength of the writing and art in this book, but what interests me most is the way this storyline's finally worked Marvel's "knights" into what truly feels a modern urban mythology. There's a lot said about how superheroes are analogous to the pantheons of antiquity and this was the first time...

Matt Murdock ..The Master Of KungFu ? 1
I just don't know about this series. Either some heroes aren't being portrayed correctly here or DareDevil is gaining power from someone. Perhaps both. Someone has literally taken control over DareDevil spirit and mind and enhanced his abilities. I love action but Billy Tan's art work on the action scenes doesn't have the flow where it should, especially when DD takes on Shang Chi and Iron Fist and defeats them both!?!? Later Iron Fist consoles Shang -Chi when he claims "I am no longer the M...
