ShadowHawk is an amazing character that has always seem to get sandbagged. He never gets the appreciation or time he deserves and it just sucks. I just wish there were a way for him to stay part of the main stream image universe and really make an impact. He is such a great character that I would hate to see go to wate

Whatever happened to the new series? 

The "current" series was cancelled after issue #5 because low sales.  It was a good stopping point for the series according to Valentino (I can't say I agree, but I digress).

 @jloneblackheart: like chris said, the series ended with #5 and shadowhawk is in semi retirement. I just hate how he has a lot of potential, but becausehe isn't as well liked, he has to get shafted

I preferred the previous Shadowhawk because he can work in Kirkmanverse (even had a team-up with Invincible, Zephyr Noble and Firebreather).

I think if an innovative writer was attached, Shadowhawk could make a comeback. However, Image doesn't really throw money at freelance comics talent, which has definitely worked in their favour.

SH was one of my fave characters in the 90s. Of course, being a product of that wretched decade is probably why his popularity has dipped considerably.
