Seward was the Jackal's trusty assistant and the Jackal couldn't have done all of his cloning without him. Having being caught by one of the Green Goblin's Scrier stealing files from his boss, Trainer owned Green Goblin a favour - one that was subsequently called in during the epic battle between Spidey and his Warren made clone.
