Horror Comics Done Right 0

Severed was a series I will never forget reading. It seems as though Scott Snyder and Scott Tuft have done the impossible by creating such a captivating, horrifying story in a mere 7 issues. Knowing this is the end is a bitter-sweet feeling. I have held my breath through each book and have cringed at the graphic displays in the panels, but I've loved every minute of it. There's absolutely a place in the comics industry and the storytelling world at large for complete stories with a definitive ending in mind, and this series is absolutely great for having that... but it's also terribly saddening to see it end.
