We have waited a long time

I understand Joss is a very busy guy but there are other writers who understand his magnificent creations well enough to feed the hungry fanbase. But, as we know, Joss never lets anything go through without his personal stamp on it so that unfortunately means there can be long waiting periods between releases.

Finally! It's here. The second Serenity miniseries hit shelves this week. It's action packed and full of all the camaraderie you would expect from the crew of the well worn and loved Firefly class ship called Serenity.

The artwork is stellar inside and out. We're very lucky fans to have Adam Hughes doing the covers and our old favorite Will Conrad on the interiors. This is a team that simply grasps each bit of the characters.

The first issue alone has two jobs in it for the crew as far as get to a place and steal something but it's all part of an overall plan. The first plan is unfortunately interrupted but it leads the crew to a much bigger reward.

And I have to say, Jayne - The Hero of Canton - does not disappoint.
