Sentry
Character » Sentry appears in 966 issues.
After ingesting an experimental super-soldier formula, the lowly Robert Reynolds became the Sentry, if only in his mind. In constant battle with his dark side known as the Void, the Sentry has been forgotten and dead, he has resurrected and vanished. Even if he is one of earth's greatest heroes, he is also one of the world's greatest dangers.
Kill The Sentry
"He's a gonerI'll say that I liked Sentry more in this issue than in anything else. Anything. Ever. (And I liked Frank too, something that's almost as rare.)

"Buckshot said:Alot of people do."I'd heard that someone (forget the name at the moment) was offering hundreds of dollars (think it was two hundred but I forget, man I'm bad with the info today) to any Marvel writer that would kill off the Sentry. It hasn't happened yet but I'm holding out hope. Anyway, I came across this today and thought I'd share it with anyone who hasn't already seen it. Kill The Sentry. It's not flashy but it gets the point across. I'm wondering if there's any way I could support this movement."hahaha, I didnt know you hated Sentry"

If it is a Skrull gun, it's not that unbelievable. There was a huge war. Stuff got left on the floor.

"huh I just would have figured Norman would have been the type to keep that kinda stuff from happening and if the Punisher could have just been picking up weapons why doesn't he have a more alien arsenal ?
I don't think anyone was watching who was arming themselves in the middle of the fight or at the end when things were still settling. But just because he (could have) grabbed some stuff doesn't mean he redid his entire arsenal. How would he carry everything? Where would he get ammo once he ran out? What if he just likes weapons he's used to?

"KILL THAT BRITNEY SPEARS LOOKING SUPERMAN WANNABE! WOOOOOOOOOOOO!He looks absolutely nothing like Britney Spears.....

I really don't see what the problem is with Sentry. What the hell is the big deal? Everything I've seen from him so far has been at least interesting, and much of it has been genuinely badass. Yes, he's in need of some development, but he's a young character; give him a few more years to get fleshed out. Or you could have him killed off because the fanboys think he's some sort of 'insult to Superman' or whatever other bullshit reason people have for hating him so passionately. Seriously, there are more serious issues with the Marvel universe right now than the existence of freakin' Sentry.

"Out with his entrails!"
"wow! Why is there so much hate for Sentry?"Something about him not living up to his potential...
"The Boss said:that actually made me laugh now xD"I love the Sentry....he ripped of Morgan's head!"Fat lot of good it did him, too."
Yea cause every other character lives up to their potential (sarcasm)"Despite the sarcasm, every other character pretty much does.
I don't know, I think there could be alot of potential with Sentry. Although he needs to be toned down abit if he's going to stay on Earth unless he is only fighting the Hulk all the time. Other then that if he travel through the cosmos fighting villians I would read it.
Although he needs to be toned down abit if he's going to stayIf they tone him down anymore he'll be weak as hell.

" Keep him alive just write him better. "Wouldn't that be a novel approach! But no, we need to kill him because the fanboys in their infinite wisdom have decreed that he is beyond saving.
" Yes, Buckshot is a HUGE fanboy. "Yes, I was referring specifically to Buckshot and not the dozens of people in this thread mindlessly calling for his death. And Buckshot is a huge fanboy for certain characters, yes.
right him and better and make hime worth keeping otherwise kill him , as for the spidey hate earliier thats just plane stupid you should be killed off lol
"I know, I know. It's a bad habit, but I'm trying to get better, honest!@Alexander Anderson said:"" Yes, I was referring specifically to Buckshot"Well, that's just rude. You shouldn't single people out like that.
I think he is becoming more interesting as time goes on. Yes he is ridiculously powered but he still has his flaws 1st being not to bright 2nd his mental issues. I think the second one evens him out enough to keep him on earth.
He basically needs time to find his place if you will.
every other character lives up to their potential..... Are you kidding me with this. Bulls Eye, Mac-Venom, Noh-varr, Sabretooth, Toad, Pyro, Brainchild, Jubilee, Goliath, Hercules just of the top of my head are living up to their potential....
their are characters out there who really should bite the dust and ppl are up in arms over a new character that is slow in development because they were doing one major cross over arc after the other, then dealing with the respective fall out of that arc and dealing with other story arcs that take priority. Dark Reign is when we are getting more 'screen'-time on Robert. give the guy a minute.

Because Sentry can kill everyone, including superman.......so everyone automaticaly hates him now.....its how it goes xD
Sentry is not awesome. Sentry stands for everything that can make comic books suck.
Sentry was written into marvel lore in 2000. His story alone altered the histories of numerous characters (not to mention the universe) with little to (probably) no regard to the already established lore. In direct and literal translation, the writer, with this character, gave a giant middle finger to all those characters you loved so much, but more importantly, he gave a giant middle finger to all the writers in the history of Marvel Comics.
" @the creator said:They didn't quit anything. He went to the Avengers and therefore they could no longer write them because Bendis is pretty much owns them." It would be better to say kill the inept writers who give him no direction / plot advancement. "Paul Jenkins and Lee quit writing him, its Brian Michael Bendis who is trying to give him some kind of plot advancement today "

"Sentry only changed everyone's history in the sense he was inserted into. All of the things we've seen them do since they first appeared unless they were retconned in their book (like Spider-Man) all still applies.Sentry didn't erase anything but himself from their timelines.
