Sentry
Character » Sentry appears in 966 issues.
After ingesting an experimental super-soldier formula, the lowly Robert Reynolds became the Sentry, if only in his mind. In constant battle with his dark side known as the Void, the Sentry has been forgotten and dead, he has resurrected and vanished. Even if he is one of earth's greatest heroes, he is also one of the world's greatest dangers.
Is Sentry potentially the most powerful being to come?
As much as I would like to argue sentry to be considered the strongest, we don't see his power taken to the limits so any argument wether he is or is not is irrelevant then only question relevant is "if he was taken to the limits" so I would consider all you arguments to be pointless and false.
Who can defeat the Sentry:
Silver Surfer
Phoenix
Franklin Richards
Doctor Doom
Doctor Strange
Deadpool (probably)
Scarlet Witch
Galactus
Thanos
Infinity
Eternity
Beyonder
Living Tribunal
One Above All
@rhysdurden: He can beat all those beings combined.
Phoenix can just disintegrate Sentry in a second, Doctor Doom can steal his powers, Franklin Richards can just warp reality (as well as the Scarlet Witch), Sentry can't kill Deadpool because he is functionally immortal, Doctor Strange can kick his ass easily, the Silver Surfer can just project a cosmic energy and blast it on Sentry's face (killing him), Galactus, Thanos, Beyonder, Infinity, Eternity, the Living Tribunal can just defeat Sentry in a second and the One Above All is the god of the Marvel Multiverse, no one is greater than him. Also, Blue Marvel can defeat him. Probably Wolverine too.
@rabumalal: silver surfur wreck him to oblivion let alone other fighters
I really hate Sentry and all the fanboys who says that Sentry can defeat anyone. Sentry can't even disintegrate beings, he's not in the same level as Franklin Richards, Phoenix, Silver Surfer, Doctor Strange, Doctor Doom and Scarlet Witch. Nate Grey, Iceman, Legion and Vulcan can defeat Sentry too. Sentry is not omnipotent, omnikinetic, omniscient or omnipresent. He would be raped by Thanos, Galactus, Infinity, Eternity, Beyonder, Living Tribunal and most of all, the One Above All. Sentry CANNOT last a second against these beings I mentioned.

Its ironic that you keep bringing up Doom when the Sentry had him shook TWICE.
@king_stranglehold_da_first: I mean Doom with prep.
The Sentry is a reality and molecule warper, and his powers are based off that and how mentally stable he is at the time. He beat the Molecule Man in one occasion and stalemated Galactus.
The Sentry has control over life and death(he's able to resurrect people from death).
The Sentry's physical abilities as well as his reality and molecule warping power stem from his mental state. If he's mentally off or unstable(Which he basically always is), then he can't use his powers to their full effects. Ex: Due to also being a matter warper, he has the exact same powers as The Molecule Man, yet The Molecule Man has far more control than The Sentry does(Even though both aren't very stable, The Sentry is even less so).
However, if he's mentally "ok", he can completely destroy many heavy hitters. Hell, he once destroyed Asgard and Thor could do nothing about it.
The overall issue with The Sentry is his lack of control over his powers, due to his mental instability. He's never been shown at full power in a fully stable mindset. Hell, in order for him to be taken down he had to willingly want himself to stop/die, in Thor's case he had to willingly ask Thor to kill him, likewise for The Hulk. He seems to have literally no weaknesses aside from his own mind, and in that case he is potentially, one of the most powerful, if not, the most powerful, non-divine being to exist in the Marvel Multiverse (Potentially).
My guess is that a hypothetical Sentry at his absolute limit with a fully stable and sound mind, would be, at the least, on the same level as the Living Tribunal, if not more powerful. Yes, that powerful. If Pre-Retcon Molecule Man could destroy countless Universes and contend with the The Beyonder, and since The Sentry has Molecule Man's entire powerset + Reality warping and an almost invulnerable superhuman body, then there's really no limit to his power(Assuming he is at his hypothetical best).

Good post until you got to the bolded. Lets not make those arguments....
Just my opinion on what his absolute peak could be like. The bolded is all hypothetical and opionated, mostly in response to the OP, not arguing that's hes anywhere near as strong as the LT or others lol
