    Sentry

Character » Sentry appears in 966 issues.

After ingesting an experimental super-soldier formula, the lowly Robert Reynolds became the Sentry, if only in his mind. In constant battle with his dark side known as the Void, the Sentry has been forgotten and dead, he has resurrected and vanished. Even if he is one of earth's greatest heroes, he is also one of the world's greatest dangers.

How fast is the Sentry? Much faster than the Speed of Light?

I think so. I'm just having a debate with Vance that he's much faster than the speed of light but Vance thinks he's no where near the speed of light.

Flies to Saturn before he finishes saying no. It takes light almost 16 minutes to travel from the earth to saturn.

How long does it take you to read these panels? It takes light to travel from the sun to the earth in 8 minutes.

Oh but I bet you are going to argue we don't know how long the pauses were when they were talking. How about this?

Right after he answers teh question they are already at the sun.

EDIT:  For my conclusion so far
If I can estimate exactly how fast he is judging from how long it took him to fly to Saturn.

Mach 117,000 < Sentry Speed < Mach 880,000 (Speed of Light).

I don't believe there's anything to say he is? He's fast, we all know that, but whether he's FTL, has not been stated by marvel or on panel in any comic i've heard of yet. You can theorize, but again, there's no on panel feats at this stage to say or prove he's on par with Superman or Prime in the speed department.

If you mean Marvel Database yes.If you mean Marvel.Com..I don't know because Marvel.com had false ratings for quite some time.Even the ones that say official.

I would just like to mention that at Mach 2 it would have taken him

58, 782 Hours to get to the sun, meaning it took him 6.7 years to get there. A 5 rating is " Mach-2 through Orbital Velocity." So he has to be somewhere at least in between 5 and 6.

His rating doesn't mean he's at Mach 2.His rating states you have to be AT LEAST Mach 2 to have the rating. He's still in Mach speeds..not light. He's over Mach 2 but under lightspeed.

Marvel's websites ratings are done by the fans even the one's that say official.Marvel's actual published ratings state he's much slower than that.

yea i wouldnt trust anything marvel.com says when it comes to their own characters. I have never seen a site so far behind on updating information.
